Pond's 10 Things

Pond’s India launched a YouTube gadget channel to promote a new Face Wash targeted at young college girls. Glitch Media an agency specialised in video production & social media came up with the idea of generating a customised song video based on the answers derived from a short interactive quiz. The questions were framed around the perfect idea of love & dating. The campaign was a big success and was covered in several social magazines, etc.

CHALLENGE
Preloading and playing back multiple videos tightly was a challenge. We used some trickery while encoding the videos to make sure the playback was seamless.

Multiple variants were generated to suit the user’s bandwidth so loading was responsive.
TECHNOLOGY
Three different characters were shot in different setups with different lyrical variants.

The clips are separated and merged in realtime depending on the quiz answers and played as a single music video.
